Die Strandloper- Langebaan
Firstly,Happy New year guys- I hope 2007 is the year 'you made IT happen'. Secondly, this is a post i meant to post last year but didn't get around to it before i went on holiday. While in Cape Town for the last time for 2006, Alice myself, Ian and Andre' went for supper to a wonderful place in Langebaan called 'Die Strandloper'. What an amazing expereince- you get to eat 10 courses of sea food for only R150- dirt cheap if you ask me- and you also get to sit in the open air right on the beach. It's so rustic and beatiful. They also serve you warm homemade bread that has just come out of a coal oven and a sortment of homemade Jams... In my opinoin i would just go for the bread and jam, they have the best bread and jam in the whole of SA. I've been craving their bread and jam. This is a photo of where they cook the food-which is right in front of where everyone is seated.
